Two case makers suggest Nokia 9 has display with curved edges, like Samsung’s flagships

Usually such renders do not come in pairs, from two different case makers, at the same time and revealing the same design. It has to be a too great coincidence for two companies to rely on the same design if there were no common sketches.

The first set of pictures is with the Ann HQ cases sold on Gearbest, which costs no more than $5, and the second set of pictures comes from Tudia, sold in India for about $15.

As you will see in the two sets of images, we can spot the same features on both Nokia 9 smartphone “hidden” inside the two protection covers models.

The dual-camera at the back has the same arrangement, with a flash on the right and another small sensor on the left, and below the camera is the fingerprint reader.

The side buttons have the same positioning, and both cases have matching cut outs for the speaker, USB Type-C port, and the audio jack. But the most important are the curved edges of the screen, like on Samsung’s flagships.

As I have already said, it is quite strange for two producers to make renders of the same model at the same time, and the design to coincide so much. They may have gotten into the final design sketches of the Nokia 9.

If so, then we can expect Nokia 9 to be presented at the MWC 2018, at the end of this month, where we also look forward to the Nokia 1, Nokia 7 Plus, and Nokia 4 and 4G versions of the Nokia 3310. It would be a real treat for Nokia fans, as an HMD Global official promised us an “awesome MWC 2018”. I doubt, though, that so many handsets will be unveiled at once.
