Telekom Romania announces list of this summers’ partner music festivals and tickets with up to 40% discount for its customers


Telekom Romania announces a summer full of surprises for its customers, with intense experiences at the most awaited music festivals in Romania: Dakini (June 27– July 1, Tuzla, Constanţa), Electric Castle (July 18-23, Bánffy Castle, Cluj), Citadela (July 27-29, Deva Stronghold, Hunedoara), Awake (August 17-19, Teleki Palace, Gorneşti, Mureş).

Telekom Romania will be present at the four festivals through the Telekom Electronic Beats (TEB) platform, the most vanguard electronic music concept officially launched in Romania, in April 2018, with scenes especially set and international artists. The users of the prepaid SIM cards or subscribers of the Telekom Romania services have the possibility of buying tickets to any of these festivals with a discount of up to 40%.

At the same time, for purchasing discount tickets or for the chance to win free tickets and camping places or meet & greet sessions with the artists, Telekom customers have to go to benefit from up to 40% discounts for 1,000 tickets at Electric Castle, 1,000 tickets at Awake, 1,000 tickets at the Dakini festival, and 100 tickets at the Citadel Festival.

To mark the important moments of the most anticipated summer festivals, the participants will be able to make live streams, upload pictures or movies to Facebook or YouTube, with free WiFi internet from Telekom and unlimited 4G data traffic in all mobile subscriptions and Telekom prepaid cards.

At the second edition, the Dakini Festival opens the summer on the beach in Tuzla and promises four days and four nights of music and art through creative workshops and the presence of over 100 famous DJs in Europe, including Chill / Live (Gaudi AllStars Orchestra Live, Prem Joshua Band Live, Ott Live, Aes Dana Live, Solar Fields), Psy Trance (Ace Ventura, Alpha Portal, Astrix, Emok, Sideform, Tsubi), Micro (Ada Khaled, Matei Tulbure, Paul Agripa, Petre Inspirescu).

Dakini Festival means freedom, diversity, tolerance, connection, magic, harmony and values that the festival shares with the participants in Romania and abroad.

Electric Castle, a world-renowned five-day international music festival, held at Bánffy Castle, Transylvania, attracted last year over 170,000 people from all over the world, and for the 2018 edition, the organizers expect to a new record.

Telekom Romania opens this festival with the TEB scene, which will host great names of Romanian music, artists fond of the millenary generation and not only. For five days the audience will have the opportunity to listen to Arapu, Cap, Charlie, Ciubuc, Dan Andrei, Dubtil, G76, Gescu, KD Chriss, Kozo, LIZZ, Mihigh, Paul K, Petre Inspirescu, Rqz, Sepp, Suciu, Tulbure, Vincentiulian.

At the same time, Telekom Electronic Beats is the main partner of the first edition of the Citadela Festival. The Telekom Electronic Beats scene will create a multicultural bridge between spectators and some of the most appreciated underground artists in Romania and relevant names from the international landscape such as Roman Flügel, Hector, Cesar Merveille, Amorf, Priku, Livio & Roby, Mahony, Suciu, Vincentiulian, Sepp b2b Not Zau, Mihai Pol, vlf and Mi Pa. Last but not least, there will be workshops supported by renowned speakers, art galleries and street food.

A new place for music and arts is waiting to be discovered. Awake Festival is organized on the field of Teleki Castle in Gorneşti, 20 minutes from Târgu Mureş. Among the artists confirmed at the second edition are Morcheeba, Milky Chance, “In Strings”, Wilkinson, The Subways, Fink, Subcarpathians. The Awake story is completed this year by the TEB scene, where James Zabiela, Eelke Kleijn, Vlademir, IV-IN, Ethylen, Vlad Bretan, Eye Scream and many others will mix. Similar to the previous edition, the festival will have a mix of experiences such as an open-air library, the Feed Your Mind discussion forum, outdoor cinema and the Artdoor Large Art Contest.

As for Telekom Electronic Beats programme, it was developed in Germany, the heart of electronic music parties in the continent, in 2000, as Deutsche Telekom’s standard for international music and lifestyle content marketing. Telekom Electronic Beats owns an innovative media portfolio, produces its own festival series and live events all across Europe, while serving innovative Telekom products and services.

For 18 years under public’s attention, the program extended its local outlets from Germany to Poland, Hungary, Albania, Macedonia, and in Romania.
