Telekom launches the Electronic Beats platform in Romania

In April 2017, Telekom Romania was launching #Netliberare commercial platform – promising the Internet liberation for the entire nation. A revolutionary debut of democratized Internet access and extensive communication benefits offer starting 5 euros. First step of the campaign focused on residential, prepaid and postpaid customers.

Few months later, in November 2017, Telekom was the first operator on the Romanian market to introduce the unlimited 4G mobile data traffic offer for the postpaid segment, as well as unlimited free data traffic for video streaming for the prepaid customers.

In order to finalize the 360 degrees product architecture, on March 26, 2018, Telekom Romania extended the unlimited 4G mobile data traffic bonus for the prepaid customers, as well as, starting 5 euro credit.

The latest offer was designed in synergy with the announcement of Telekom Electronic Beats launch on the local market. By the unlimited mobile data traffic bonus included from now on for both the postpaid and the prepaid customers, Telekom Electronic Beats is meant to become part of the daily urban and cultural life of the electronic music lovers, enriching their knowledge, opening new entertainment opportunities for them and enabling unlimited access to data and information.

Each new product launch and each new communication campaign launched during the 1 year of #Netliberare platform represented a new step in the internet liberation journey promised to all Romanians.

1 Year of #Netliberare:
• 2 million Telekom customers using the #Netliberare offer services;
• 6 times higher 4G traffic in Telekom’s network due to massive investments in the 4G network and portfolio of devices and services;
• Over 58% increase on 1st urban brand consideration on Millennials core target group, for both broadband internet and mobile services (according to Advertising Tracking Study for Telekom, run by Kantar Millward Brown in December 2017).

Moreover, until April 16, customers visiting Telekom shops can benefit from the entire Samsung Galaxy J 2017 Family smartphones at 1 leu, at porting.

In addition, nationwide, mobile customers can enjoy special subscription offers starting 5 euro / month if they activate fixed services within the next 6 months.
