The Galaxy S8 and S8+ are still around the world are still getting update packages from Android Nougat to Android Oreo, as the process isn’t yer over, but Galaxy Note 8 users are also waiting to receive their update package for their phablets.
Although there have been some rumors that the updates will be ready for the end of March, Samsung has officially confirmed that it will take some more time, announcing on the US community forum the updates should be ready in 2-3 weeks.
“We know that many of you are super pumped to upgrade to the newest operating system, and we can’t wait to get it into your hand! We’re working hard to ensure we provide you with the best possible experience for your device no matter what carrier or network you use. (…) With this being said, we’re working with our Carriers to get Oreo out to ALL eligible Galaxy S8/+ and Note 8 devices within the next 2-3 weeks“, announced Samsung on the forum.
