Apple has made some noise with their Animoji, a feature that allows users to transform their own facial expressions into emoji faces, with the use of the True Depth system.

That’s the same system that works enables the 3D facial recognition authentication you might know as FaceID. Animoji has quickly become popular among iPhone X users. It was unique at the time of its launch, but it will not be for too long.

Huawei has already unveiled their own version of Animoji, which will surely arrive on the Huawei P20 series, and now Samsung is preparing its own alternative, called “3D Stickers,” according to industry sources quoted by the local press.

Using the selfie camera, facial recognition and iris scanning sensors, the phone will register the head movements and the facial expressions of the users. Thus, users will be able to make 3D avatars or send 3D emoji to their friends via messaging apps.

The same sources also clim that the new Galaxy S9 and S9+ will have two speakers to provide stereo sound. one speaker will be located at the bottom side of the phone next to the USB Type-C, as on the Galaxy S8, S8+ and Galaxy Note 8, while the a second speaker will be installed at the top.
