Galaxy S8’s screen resolution might be set to default at Full HD+, not at WQHD+

The next Samsung flagships will be unveiled pretty soon and more and more leaks are running on the web. This time a picture of a Galaxy S8 display setting has leaked out, and it shows a display resolution change slider that goes from HD+ to FullHD+ and from there to WQHD+ resolution.

It seems though that the default screen resolution preferred by Samsung would be Full HD+ since de unorthodox WQHD+ will drain the battery way faster. That wouldn’t be a bad idea as the users can make a choice of their own. Some will what to see the true potential of the new Infinity Display, but other might need the phone for longer periods of time without recharging it to often.

The next Galaxy S8 series will be presented worldwide on March 29, in a special Unpacked event. The new phones should become available for pre-order starting with April 7 and in stores they will hit shelves on April 21.
