Galaxy J5 (2018) spotted on GFXBench

It seems that Samsung is not working only on the Galaxy A series, of which we’ve heard so many rumors lately, nor just on the Galaxy S9 series, but on the Galaxy J series. Its budget series.

And they seem to have made some good progress as the Galaxy J5, the 2018 model, has already been spotted on GFXBench. Is quite soon, thinking that this year, the J series was launched in June.

According to GFXBench listing the new device sports a 4.8-inch Full HD display, which means that Samsung won’t put an Infinity Display on this particular model. Maybe not at all on the J series. I’m saying that because, the Galaxy A series will look very much like the flagships Samsung released this year, like the Galaxy S8 series.

Under the hood, there’s Samsung Exynos 7570 quad-core processor, clocked at 1.4GHz, coupled with a Mali-T720 GPU and 3GB of RAM. There will be 32GB of internal storage and most likely it’ll get a microSD slot, as all Samsung smartphones.

At the back of the phone it’s a 12MP main camera, while at the front we’ll find an 8MP selfie snapper. The phone was tested with Android 7.1.1 Nougat on board, but by the time it’ll be launched it’ll sure get Android 8.0 Oreo.
