Energizer Energy E240S, a Nokia 3310 lookalike with selfie camera and 2000mAh battery

The Energizer brand has begun to become more and more present on the mobile phone market lately, and the French company Avenir Telecom is using the brand intensively, and has brought Energizer phones to Mobile World Congress 2018.

The company unveiled in Barcelona a new feature-phone, one that is very much like the modern version of the legendary Nokia 3310. The new Energizer phone is called Energy E240S and comes with some extra strong points in comparison with the model produced by HMD Global.

By far the most interesting novelty is the front camera. It’s the first feature-phone that has a selfie camera. It’s just a VGA camera (0.3MP), but no other classic cellphone in the world can boast of such a feature.

Then, because Energizer it is a brand better known for its batteries, this model equipped with a very generous battery for a feature phone. Energy E240S has 2,000mAh battery, which according to the manufacturer provides enough power for 15 hours of voice calls (in 2G mode) and up to 14 days standby.

The phone has a QVGA TFT screen of 2.4 inches and is equipped with Spreadtrum dual core processor, clocked at 1,2GHz, 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage and also offers a microSD card slot of up to 64GB.

The main camera on this phone has a 2MP sensor and as we said earlier the front camera has a 0.3MP senzor. It is dual SIM and offers 4G LTE connectivity with VoLTE support (Voice over LTE) for high-quality voice calls. The phone also has Bluetooth. Of course, has a flashlight, too.

The company has not yet announced the price of this phone, but has announced it will reach stores in the second quarter of this year (April to June).
