ZenFone AR with 8GB of RAM and 128 GB ROM arrives in India for $775

Asus’ augmented reality focused smartphone ZenFone AR, compatible with the Tango and Daydream platforms had been launched in India at a price tag of INR 49,999, which is around $775.

The phone will be sold at Flipkart, with 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM variant and will only be available in a Black color variant in the country.

Asus ZenFone AR is world’s first smartphone to come with Tango (Google’s AR) and Daydream (Google’s VR) support and is equipped with a 5.7-inch QHD Super AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset, it runs of Android 7.0 Nougat. It’s fueled by a 3,300mAh battery and the photo department, is comprised from a 23MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera.

Asus will be shipping the ZenFone AR to Indian customers along with Asus ZenEar S earphones in the box. These earphones support DTS Headphone:X and Hi-Res Audio and are built out of aerospace metal.
