Xiaomi is preparing to unveil its next generation of Mi Mix smartphones, the successor of last year big surprise on the market, a device that stunned the industry with its slick and unique design.
Xiaomi already confirmed the unveiling that, which is set for September 11th, and CEO Lei Jun has just confirmed that Mi Mix 2 is in mass production. He even even shared some photos of the retail box on Weibo.
I’m not sure is Mi Mix 2 will manage to surprise the industry as its predecessor succeeded last year, but I’m really curious to see it, as all the clues we’ve been given suggest an even more impressive design that the original Mi Mix.
Specs-wise, Mi Mix 2 is expected to sport a 6.4-inch Quad HD display, will be powered by a Snapdragon 835 chipset and there will be three variants of RAM and internal storage combos: 4GB RAM+128GB, 6GB RAM+128GB, and 8GB RAM+256GB.
