It’s not just a rumor! Xiaomi India posted on its official Twitter account a photo and a tweeted that BigIsBack and indicated that a new Xiaomi smartphone will be launched on July 18.
Even though the company doesn’t not reveal the name of the smartphone, there’s only one big smartphone to be launched next week and that’s Mi Max 2.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is a top-end-budget phablet that features a 6.4-inch display, is powered by a Snapdragon 625 chipset with 4GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB internal memory.
At the back we’ll find a 12MP camera with 1.25μm pixel Sony IMX386 sensor and dual Led flash, while at the front will get a 5MP selfie snapper.
The phone is fueled by a huge 5,300mAh battery that also supports Quick Charging 3.0. Not only that, the Mi Max 2 can even charge other smartphones.
Further, the Mi Max 2 will feature Android 7.1.1 Nougat coupled with MIUI 8. The device sports an all metal body, infrared remote control and rear fingerprint sensor.
