Mi 6 in Xiaomi’s flagship and while their not very expensive, their not very cheap either. So the Chinese company is preparing to bring an affordable Mi 6 variant, dubbed Mi 6c, which was spotted at GFXBench.
The device was registered under the codename Jason and it’s equipped with the lasted midrange chipset from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 660, which indicates that Mi 6c, will be cheaper than the top of the line, which features the powerful Snapdragon 835.
According to GFXBench listing, we find that this new Xiaomi smarpthone sports a 5.1-inch Full HD display, under the hood we find a Snapdragon 660 chipset, 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB internal storage.
The main camera has a 12 MP sensor, while the front camera with its 4MP sensor is a total downgrade in comparison with the standard Mi 6, which had 8 MP.
The smartphone will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the factory and probably we should see it on the market very soon. Price-wise, while there are no official information, we can speculate that, since the original Mi 6 was launched at a price around $360, so this Mi 6c variant should be under the $250 mark. Maybe more like $200.
