Xiaomi is more and more active on the smartphone market, one of the top dogs in China and India, the biggest smartphone markets in the world, is bringing more and more interesting phones on the market and has big plans for global expansion.
Just yesterday they’ve unveiled Xiaomi Mi A1, a smartphone prepared specially for Google’s Android One initiative, the first such smartphone to go worldwide, on September 11 will unveil the much anticipated Mi Mix 2, and believe it or not, is Qualcomm’s second most important client, besides Samsung.
In 2018 it is expected to bring another flagship, a successor to Mi 6, which, just a couple of days ago we wrote is planned for the first quarters of the next year. Now, a new rumor comes to confirm the prior one, and claims it’s going to arrive in February.
Specs-wise, there aren’t to many things out about it, besides that it’s expected to sport a 6-inch OLED display made by Samsung, to be equipped with Qualcomm’s next flagship chipsets, Snapdragon 845, and will most likely get 6GB and 8GB of RAM variants.
Still, is early to think this are going to be the final specs and there’s plenty of time for changes that can be made and plenty of stuff can happen until February, if the rumors are correct.
