Wireless charging is becoming a standard on the market nowadays and Xiaomi is the last significant smartphone maker to join Samsung, Apple and LG, into the Wireless Power Consortium.
Of course, these news was the trigger to start speculation about, what will be the first smartphone from Xiaomi to get it. Obviously, rumors suggest it’s going to be Xiaomi’s next flagship, the Mi 7, which is said to arrive in February.
Specs-wise, there aren’t to many things out about it, besides that it’s expected to sport a 6-inch OLED display made by Samsung, to be equipped with Qualcomm’s next flagship chipsets, Snapdragon 845, and will most likely get 6GB and 8GB of RAM variants.
Still, is early to think this are going to be the final specs and there’s plenty of time for changes that can be made and plenty of stuff can happen until February, if the rumors are correct.
