Rumors about the next ”flagship killer” from OnePlus kept spreading in the past few weeks and since the level of anticipation is getting higher OnePlus’ CEO Pete Lau has decided to pour more gas on the fire.
Lau has posted on Weibo a cartoonish picture that shows some engineers working hard at a smartphone which is a clear indication the company is working on the device. Maybe they are making the final tweaks on the phone.
Unfortunately, this tease those not offer anything on the smartphone itself. Not even the design, to see if the renders that have leaked last week we’re accurate or not.
Fortunately, about the specifications, we’ve learned something about OnePlus 5 from previous rumors. The next “flagship killer” is supposed to get the Snapdragon 835 chipset, which means that it will feature an octa-core CPU and the Adreno 540 GPU and it will could bring 8 GB of RAM. The phone will have a 5.5-inch Quad HD 1440 x 2560 resolution screen and is said to have a 16 MP selfie camera.
