Voice search mode on Chrome available without manually activating it [video]

Google just made words hot within Google Voice Search ‘Hotword’. Chrome has a new extension from Google that allows users to use their voice when they do searches within the browser.

As you might know, this voice search option has been available for a while now, but it required manually clicking to activate it, so why doing this when it’s easier to push the enter button, now that your fingers have the keyboard extension?

Well, now you can just say “Ok, Google” and the browser will automatically go into voice search mode, as long as you are on the Google homepage or on a new Tab page. The extension can be downloaded from the Chrome Web Store.

It’s going to be weird to actually hear whatever you want to find on the Internet, either porn or a perfect stuffing recipe for a family dinner. It might actually change your perspective about what’s ok or not to online search for, because some things should stay locked in your head.
