The Galaxy S4 surpasses HTC One in Webmark 2.0, new CPU rumors

GSMArena has stumbled upon results from a certain Samsung GT-l9500 (longtime rumoured to be the Galaxy S4’s product number) in Browsermark 2.0’s database. Apparently this is the highest result recorded to date. With 2710 points the S4 comes ahead of the LG Optimus G (2555) and HTC One (2262), and another 2013 flagship – the Xperia Z, is trailing behind with 1865 points.

Meanwhile, new rumours about the S4’s CPU started circulating. The S4 may be sold with a Snapdragon 600 CPU in LTE-enabled countries and with Samsung’s very own Exynos 5 octa-core CPU in places without LTE connectivity. The rumour comes from a Taipe-based JPMorgan analyst.

The Galaxy S4 will be unveiled on March 14 in New York.
