It is supposed to be the mid-range family of smartphones from Samsung, but the Galaxy A series is expected to get a major upgrade in 2018, as more and more rumors confirm that the new series will borrow the most important features for the flagships that were launched this year.

Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 have already been spotted in benchmarks and they reveal powerful specs, then there were two consecutive rumors about the series adopting Infinity Display panels, like Galaxy S8, S8+ and Note 8 have. See the rumors here and here.

Now, sources from China suggest that the Galaxy A series will get Bixby dedicated buttons in 2018, just like Samsung flagships introduced this year. It could actually could say that today’s flagships are tomorrow mid-rangers.

If that’s the case, I wonder how will Galaxy S9 will be, or Galaxy Note 8. Because, if 2018’s mid-rangers are comparable in specs and features with the 2017 flagships, which are a huge improvement from 2016, that the flagships in 2018 from Samsung should make out jaws drop. Hopefully. Other-wise, it won’t be a good idea from Samsung to make its mid-range series to compete with it flagships. Don’t you think?
