Telekom Romania supports the Brașov International Marathon

  • The competition will be held on June 14th, 2015 and will be the first road marathon in Brașov;
  • All the fees collected at the 5km race and 10% of the fees collected for the races will be donated through the Telekom Romania Foundation to children and young people with autism who come from families with modest incomes.

 

Telekom Romania supports the first edition of Brașov International Marathon that will take place on the 14th of June 2015, as part of the campaign “Miscarea face bine”, powered by Dolce Sport, Telekom Romania’s sports channel. The event will put Brașov on the map of road marathons alongside Bucharest, Cluj and Arad, and the route will mark the most beautiful landmarks.

 

Participants can register for the following races that were specifically designed for all running enthusiasts:

  • 42km marathon;
  • 42km relay-marathon in a team of 4;
  • 21km semi-marathon;
  • 10km race;
  • 5km race;
  • Special races of 500m to 1km for kids aged 4-14 years.

 

The registration is done online on Brașov International Marathon’s website until June 7th, 2015. Participation fees vary between 90 and 140 lei depending on the type of race the participants register for.

 

Through the Telekom Romania Foundation, the fees collected at the 5km race and 10% of the fees collected for the races (marathon, semi-marathon and 10km run) will be donated to children with autism, beneficiaries of the ”Copiii de Cristal” Association. Telekom Romania Foundation has chosen to support children and youth with autism who come from families that have modest incomes and cannot afford to pay recovery costs necessary to integrate these children in the education system and society.

Brașov International Marathon is organized by “Șapte Scări” Association, in partnership with the Municipality of Brasov and Smart Athletic Sports Club.
