Startup Grokr brings Google Now-like cards to iPhone

31

A startup named Grokr aims to offer some of the functionality that Google introduced with Google Now on Android to iPhone users. The app which shares its makers’ name has landed in the App Store and its free, so you should give it a go. Grokr is a 3rd party sollution and won’t be as tightly intergrated into iOS as Siri is, for example, but it will give iPhone users some functionality that Apple still hasn’t implemented. The app uses the same card-based interface and determines your interests based on what you do with your smartphone. You can expect specialised information in scores, weather, traffic, and maybe local results. The app connects to your social network accounts to generate data as well. Link
