Sony announced a PS Vita price cut starting on 28 February. In Japan the Vita will cost around $215. The Wi-Fi and 3G models used to cost 25 000 and 30 000 respectively, but from 28 Feb both models will be sold at 19 800 yen (that’s what we know, at least). Customers will also get 7-day trial of PS Plus and play Uncharted, Ridge Racer and other games for free.
Price cuts for the rest of the world are yet to be announced. We will see if the 20 February event doesn’t hold anything in store for would-be Vita buyers.
