Sony are headed to Paris, the capital of everything fine and dandy, to unveil their Xperia Z Ultra (previously known as Togari) superphone on July 4. The press invite feautres a glimpse at the device’s border. It’s really thin and has an On/Off button, volume buttons and camera shutter. Everything seems to be in its right place, which is characteristic of most things beautiful. However, the Xperia Z Ultra is not some petite french girl but a rather Rubenesque lady sporting a humongous 6.44-inch 1080p display. Is this Sony’s way of asking “How’s that for size, Samsung?”
The Xperia Z Ultra runs on a Snapdragon 800 CPU with 2GB RAM, 16GB storage and has an 8MP rear camera. The body will probably be water and dust resistant, and Sony have reportedly worked towards integrating a stylus in the experience. And as for you, it seems you’ll have to work on getting a pair of pants with wider pockets to experience this superphone.
