Sony confirmed the much-rumoured Xperia Z and ZL smartphones, previously known by their codenames Yuga and Odin. Both are 5-inchers sharing similar DNA, but the ZL is a dual-SIM device, that is also sligthly thicker and heavier (but slightly shorter) and has its frontal camera positioned on the bottom-right end. According to SeCafe.vn, ZL’s unibody corpus has an opening for reaching its SIM and microSD slots. Hardware-wise, both models will offer the latest and greatest – Android 4.1.2, quad-core Snapdragon CPU, 2GB RAM and 12-13MP rear cameras. Sony will show off both smartphones at CES and maybe we’ll get to learn which version us europeans will get.
