Sony has just confirmed the expansion of the Xperia XZ2 series introduces a couple of weeks ago in Barcelona, at Mobile World Congress 2018.

At MWC 2018, Sony introduced the Xperia XZ2 and XZ2 models, but today they announced the flagship of the series, the Xperia XZ2 Premium, featuring a 4K display, Snapdragon 845 chipset, 6GB of RAM and a dual camera at the back. The previously introduced models don’t have dual cameras.

Also, the new model comes with a pretty generous battery, with fast and wireless charging capabilities and many more. But you’ll find the rest of the specs in the list bellow.

Sony hasn’t announced the price yet, not the exact release date, but they mentioned in the press release that it’ll become available in the “summer 2018”. As for the prices, if it helps, Xperia XZ2 has a recommended price of $799 and XZ2 Compact $649. Since it’s better equipped, we can expect XZ2 Premium to be more expensive.
