Sony has officially announced the Xperia Z Ultra. The confirmed specs are 6.44-inch 1080p display which supports working with styluses. Sony has added Triluminous and X-Reality technologies.
The CPU is the supercharged Snapdragon 800 @2.2GHz. Storage capacity is 16GB (+microSD), and the battery is 3000mAh.
The OS is Android 4.2.2, and finally, the camera is 8MP with 1080p video recording. The smartphone is water and dust proofed according to an IP58 certificate.
At 6.5mm thick and 212 grams weight the Xperia Z Ultra is a true engineering marvel. It’s set to launch in the third quarter of the year.
As for the Smartwatch 2, it has a 1.6-inch 220×176 display and an aluminium body. It’s waterproof as well, and compatible with every Android 4.0 and above mobile device. Its battery lasts 4 days, it supports NFC and has over 200 apps to start with. It will be launched in September.
