Skype 4.6 for iOS promises beautiful calls


Wow, aren’t we on an iOS-kick today? Skype is next on the Apple-dar with an update to version 4.6. The developers tout a new and “beautiful” calling experience. There’s quite a bit on the changelog as well, with fixes including proper ordering of personal chats, new interface (more FaceTime-ish), marking the read messages with just a few taps and more. Skype 4.6 can be downloaded from App Store and is compatible with every iPad, iPhones from 3GS above, iPod Touch 2g and above. It requires a minimum of iOS 5.0

In the next builds Skype will squash other bugs such as the last scroll position, the disappearance of Chat/SMS button, mistaken chat labels, problems reading unread messages and, frankly, there’s lots more on their plate…
