Just eight days after boasting about selling 6 million Galaxy S4 smartphones and expecting to hit 10 million in mere days, Samsung did just that – since 26 April they’ve sold 10 million Galaxy S4 units. The S4 has bested each of its predecessors – the Galaxy S3 sold the same amount in 50 days. The Galaxy S2 and Galaxy S needed separately five and seven months to make it this big.
But even though the Galaxy S4 is selling like hotcakes, the fact is that the iPhone 5 is still technically the hottest item on the mobile market. Apple took 2 million orders just 24 hours after the reveal. So the battle between these behemoths is far from ending. It hasn’t even started, apparently.Source: TechCrunch
