Samsung is preparing for another stormy round of sales this year, as new rumors suggest that the Korean tech giant plans to have 9 million Galaxy Note 8 units when the phablet will go in stores.
That falls in line with the earlier rumor that said that Galaxy Note 8 will be unveiled on August 23. That means that in a week after its unveiling, Galaxy Note 8 should go on sale.
It seems that there was some truth about the rumors that suggested the phablet was scheduled for unveiling in late September, but Samsung decided to change the release date again, because Galaxy S8 is losing momentum and sales dropped drastically.
Samsung plans to sell in the first month 9 million Galaxy Note 8 units and then another 3 million units by the end of the year. Let’s see if the plan goes as they want, cause they anticipated that they will sell 60 million units of Galaxy S8 and S8+ this year alone, but it seems that they miss that objective by quite a margin.
