Samsung expect you to play games on a 6.3-inch device

Among Samsung’s new batch of mobile accessories shines a gaming controller with a smartphone slot, NFC connectivity, two sticks, four buttons, a directional pad, shoulder buttons and pretty much everything you need to conquer Shadowgun: Deadzone’s leaderboards. Even though Sammy don’t speak very highly of Windows and Microsoft lately, they obviously liked how the X-Box 360 controller turned out and took its signature design down to the colors of the buttons. However, that’s not the interesting part.

The accessorry supports devices with screens ranging from 4 inches all the way to a whopping 6.3 inches. Is this proof that Samsung have a 6.3-inch device in the making and is there a need to be asking this question in the first place? According to latest reports, the Galaxy Note 3 will feature a more reasonable 5.9-inch display, but who knows – in the end Samsung may have decided to lay fire upon Huawei’s Ascend Mate. We’ll get to know more at Part 2 of Samsung’s Unpacked 2013 event this summer.
