Samsung fans that want a rugged flagship for Korean tech giant might have the opportunity to see a Galaxy S8 Active in the near future.

A User Agent String reveals the model number SM-G892A, which is believed to be the AT&T exclusive. The Galaxy S8 Active has been rumored to have received certification for MIL-STD-810G standard compliance, which means that it can survive falls and drops that would wipe out other handsets. It also carries an IP68 certification rating for protection from dust and water.

Rumors suggested the specs on the Galaxy S8 Active will be the same as those on the regular version but is expected to get a bigger battery. The rest of the specs for the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active should include a 5.8-inch display with a 1440 x 2960 resolution.

Under the hood will be the Snapdragon 835 chipset. 4GB of RAM is inside, along with 64GB of expandable native storage. The 12MP rear-facing camera includes an aperture of f/1.7, PDAF and OIS. And a 5MP front-facing shooter will grace the front of the Galaxy S8 Active.
