According to Korean media Samsung is building a 16MP camera sensor with optical image stabilisation. It’s destined to be included in future Galaxy smartphones, but this doesn’t mean Galaxy Note 3. Unfortunately, Samsung hasn’t been able to get the technology out on time. The eventual device to ship with the new sensor will be the Galaxy S5.
On the other hand, Sammy already has a 16MP smartphone out – the Galaxy S4 Zoom. But its optical zoom lens isn’t fit for a slim, mainstream smartphone such as the Galaxy S. 16MP is great, but with Sony lifting the bar to 20MP, and Nokia basically reinventing smartphone photography, Sammy aren’t heading towards impressive.Source: GSMArena
