Samsung announced two new tablets with Windows 8 from the ATIV series – the ATIV Q and ATIV Tab 3.
The ATIV Q is a hybrid device which can boot both Android 4.1 and Windows 8. Its 13.3-inch display sports a QHD resolution (275ppi), it weights 1.29 kg and is 13.9mm thick. It runs on regular PC hardware – Core i5 CPU (Haswell), 4GB DDR3, it has 128GB SSD storage and runs for about 9 hours.
ATIV 3 is probably the thinnest Windows 8 tab in the world right now (8.2mm thick). It has an S-Pen, it runs on Windows 8 and lasts 10 hours. It’s based on an Intel Atom Z2760 with 2GB RAM, 64 GB storage, it has a 10.1-inch HD display and is pretty to look at.
