Razer announced two new additions to its Blade series of gaming laptops. The first is a revision of the 17.3-inch Blade called Blade Pro. The new incarnation sports a next-gen Intel Haswell CPU, 8GB RAM and a GeForce GTX 765M videocard with 2GB GDDR5 RAM. The base model starts at $2299, and the upgrade options include a 256 or 512GB SSD.
The second newcomer is the 14-inch Razer Blade. Its specs are literally the same, but the display gets a reasonable downgrade to 1600×900, and the trackpad is not Switchblade, but a plain ol’ Synaptics creation. The base model starts at $1799.
Shipments will begin after the Haswell showcase at the Computex event in Taipei. Which means somewhere in the middle of, or after July.Source: Razer
