Qualcomm has reqruited a high profile figure in the shape of John Rubinstein. The technology veteran will join Qualcomm’s board of directors. He is famous for his work on the original iPod and, post-Apple, on the Palm personal assitant and its webOS.
After HP and Palm became one, Rubinstein spent two years in Hewlett-Packard. In 2012 he walked away from the computer giant, and it looks like he’s ready to get back in the game. The makers of the Snapdragon chipset will make good use of his skills and knowledge.Source: Engadget
