Taiwan display manufacturer Polytron Technologies demonstrated an early prototype of a transparent smartphone made from specially designed type of glass. The phone has no software installed at present, only its display is showcased. Its hardware components are visible inside the glass casing, but the concept has a cover in mind for them. The glass can transform itself from a matt type of surface to an optically transparent state.

Polytron also showed a transparent USB stick in 8, 16 and 32GB capacities. It has a diod light just as most other usb sticks to show you its usage state and presumably to keep your from losing it.
