HTC‘s Desire line could one day match Sony’s entire Xperia lineup letter for letter. It’s just that big. The taiwanese maker revealed the new Desire P and Desire Q – smartphones made for the asian markets. Desire P features a 4.3-inch WVGA display, Beats Audio, a pair of cameras, dual-core 1GHz and mSD slot. Its price is a whopping $365.
The Desire Q has a 4-inch display, versions in three colors and will be sold in Taiwan first. It’s price is a whopping $235.
At such ridiculous prices, we wonder if HTC even stand a chance with sub-$300 quad-core MediaTek-powered 1080p superphones oozing from every three-letter chinese company lately. We don’t see to see a talented and inspired maker driven to the ground by greed and poor marketing.Source: Unwired View
