OPPO and Amazon team up to launch a new smartphone brand in India

OPPO and Amazon India partnered to introduce the Realme smartphone brand, and the first model to be available in the country is OPPO Realme 1, a mid-range smartphone offered with three RAM options, 3GB, 4GB and 6GB, face recognition and pretty decent prices.

The Realme 1 comes in Moonlight silver and Diamond black colors, is priced at Rs. 8990 (about $133) for the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version, 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version costs Rs. 10990 (~$162) and the top-end 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version costs Rs. 13,990 ($206). It also comes with free screen guard and case in the box.

It packs a 3410mAh battery that uses AI battery management that learns your patterns and habits over time and snoozes or closes inactive apps to save power. It promises 15 hours of battery life even with heavy use.
