Mobile World Congress 2017 will be very interesting this year as many of the important brands in the smartphone industry will be present here. Sony will be among those who will attend to MWC 2017 and they are expected to unveil the successor for Xperia X.
This year model didn’t get as much attention as other interesting models from other brands but we get to see an official press render that was leaked just a few days before the start of MWC 2017, which will be held between 27 february and 2 March.
Sadly, there are no additional info that come with this render, but judging from previous rumors Xperia X2 is expected get Full HD 5-inch display, Helio P20 chipset with 4 GB of RAM and at least 64 GB internal storage. All this fuelled by a 3.000 mAh battery.
But the most impressive are the cameras that Sony picked to install on this smartphone. The camera on the rear panel of the handset is expected to be a 23 Megapixels unit with tri-sensor module. Notably, this could be the same camera that is found on the likes of Xperia XZ. The front panel of the handset will sport a 16 Megapixels selfie snapper.
We hope that Sony will bring Xperia X2 at MWC 2017, where we should find everything about this new phone.
