NVIDIA’s portable Tegra-4 powered Shield handheld has been postponed for July due to a last-minute mechanical defect in one of its ocmponents. NVIDIA apologises for the delay and insist they are working full-time on solving the problem.
The good news about Shield is that the console got a very needed price drop – from $350 down to $299.
Shield was announced at CES 2013 and was on display at this year’s E3. We have had a little bit of fun playing Dead Trigger 2 on the Shield at an NVIDIA event in Sofia and from what we saw, Tegra 4 is a graphics and performance beast.Source: BGR
