Nokia 9 starts to shape up like a true flagship

- Adrian Ungureanu

As noted before, Nokia’s comeback to the mobile phone market brought joy to the Finnish brand fans, but they are still waiting for a true flagship, one to take battle with the giants of the smartphones market.

Even more, we expect a flagship because one HMD Global official said a few weeks ago that they want to make the Nokia a Top 3 brand, one to rival with Apple and Samsung and beyond big talks want to see some big actions, too.

They can’t expect us to see them doing that with Nokia 3, 5 and 6. The good thing is that we know that HMD palns to bring 6-7 smartphones this year. Three of them have been introduced. In the meanwhile have appeared some rumors about Nokia 7 and Nokia 8, but they also seem more like mid-range smartphones and the real attention go towards Nokia 9, which might appear in this sketches.

The latest rumors bring a new light upon Nokia 9 and the specs look very good. It seems it will sport a 5.5-inch QHD display, Snapdragon 835 processors, 6 GB of RAM, at least 64 GB internal memory, a 3,800 mAh battery and it’ll run on Android 7.1.2.

The main camera will be a Carl Zeiss 22 MP Dual-Lens, while the front camera will get a 12 MP sensor. We have to remind you also, that there are still some doubts about the maker, as NokiaĀ dismissed the partnership with the German optics company.

Another interesting feature for Nokia 9 will be the first one to get “Nokia OZO audio”, a feature that will allow both playing and recording 3D and spatial audio content.

This new details are yet to be confirmed so we advice to take this with a pinch of salt. Maybe they will be confirmed at least be other rumors, cause this way Nokia 9 really starts to shape like a true flagship.
