HMD Global is supposed to unveil two new smartphones by the end of the year. Those models are Nokia 2 and Nokia 9. The latter is supposed to be a better equipped model, a sort of flagship and it just popped up in new leaked 3D renders.
The renders reveal some changes of the design adopted by the Nokia smartphones launched earlier this year. It has a new display, with curved edges, a new camera module, completely different from what we’ve seen on the Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6 or the flagship Nokia 8.
Also, there’s no physical Home button, so the fingerprint reader was moved back under the camera. There’s also no headphone jack, and most likely, just like Apple and Google, which ditched the classic audio jack, and put an adaptor in the box to compensate for the lack of the jack.
Overall, it’s not a bad looking phone. Let’s see if this model is going to come to reality though. Because these are not official renders, obviously.
