HMD Global and Nokia are expected to bring new smartphones quite soon and Nokia 2 should be among them. An “unknown heart” has appeared at Geekbench and it shows some really modest specs, so it fits the rumors that suggest it’ll be the cheapest Nokia-branded smartphone of the year.
The smartphone spotted at Geekbench runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and is powered by a Snapdragon 212 chipset, on of the least powerful mobile platforms form Qualcomm, with a quad-core processor clocked at 1,3 GHz and only 1 GB of RAM. The chipset was anticipated in a list that was leaked a couple weeks ago.
Unfortunately, as you might already know, Geekbench doesn’t offer more details about the tested smartphones, so this is what we got for the moment. Maybe Nokia 2 will make its run at AnTuTu or GFXBench, from where we can find more details.
