HMD Global will most likely launch at least two smartphone until the end of this year as rumors about Nokia 2 and Nokia 9 keep pilling up.

Nokia 9 keeps popping up in benchmarks and unofficial renders, while Nokia 2 just got certified by FCC and now it made another appearance in what seems to be a press render.

The source of this images is the well know tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks) and we still tent to give credit to him despite the fact 2017 doesn’t feel like is his year. Usually, in the past he was spot on, but this year he was a little bit of quite a few times. Anyway, the renders look good and genuine.

Specs-wise, Nokia 2 will be the least impressive Nokia-branded smartphone of the year. In fact is very unimpressive. The rumored specs, suggest a 4.7-inch HD display, a very modest Snapdragon 212 chipset, only 1GB of RAM, just 8GB internal storage, an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie snapper.

The FCC documentation reveals that Nokia 2 will be powered by a 4,000mAh battery which is huge for a smartphone which is supposed to be an entry level phone, who’s specs are very impressive and doesn’t need that much power.
