After the announcements of Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One running stock Android the media was quick to sentence the Nexus line to death. That certainly won’t be the case, however. Google VP of Android, Chrome and apps Sundar Pichai has reassured fans of the Nexus devices that the technological partnership with leading manufacturers aims to extend the Nexus lineup and push the latest technology to both companies and customers. According to Pichai, Android flagships running stock Android and Nexus devices are not mutually exclusive.
In the meantime, we are waiting for the announcement of a revised Nexus 7, a white Nexus 4 and perhaps a certain Moto X smartphone. The former should be introduced pretty soon, perhaps the 10th of June, and the latter, last we heard, is set for October.Source: Electronista
