Next iPhone display to hit 460ppi?

In the chinese social (socialist?) network Wei Feng are circling rumours that the next iPhone‘s display will feature two times the pixel density of the iPhone 5, while sporting a thinner bezel. Presently, the iPhone 5 display has 730 000 pixels and 326ppi density. If the 4-inch display shifts to the next iPhone, then the panel will hit 1.5 million pixels and 460ppi. The resolution will climb to something like 1607×905. So, if Apple want to compete equally with 5-inch 1080p Android flagships, then the screen size will have to grow to 4.2 inches.

The next iPhone should start production next month for a September reveal. Better ready your umbrellas folks, as many leaks are expected.
