Acer are developing a new flagship tablet with a rather fittingly luxorious codename – Bulgari. Let’s hope that the descendants of the famous roman jeweler Sotirios Vulgaris, whose 2010 revenue is a little more than 1 billion euro, will not frown at Acer, because this tablet looks like a winner. It has a 11.6-inch IPS display with 2560×1440 resolution, Core i3 Haswell CPU (or is it Bay Trail?) and 4GB RAM. Yes, our jaws dropped here as well, so let’s repeat that – it’s 4 gigs of RAM and 64GB storage. Somewhat dissapointingly, the rear camera is “only” an 8-megapixel one.
The Bulgari tablet should be announced at Computex in Taipei at June 3rd. We are pretty curious to see a slate that apparently runs on mainstream PC hardware.Source: Phone Arena
