While almost all manufacturers of smartphones have submitted QHD devices, Motorola make an impact with 1080pDROID Turbo / Moto Turbo last year.
Things are about to change, as recent rumors suggest that Motorola is working on a new generation of smartphones, which includes Quad HD resolution and a Qualcomm chip top. Currently, two such devices are tested in the US, and we learned about them from Verizon.
One proposal has a number Moto XT1578 and codenamed Clark. This addition to the family of Motorola has 5.25 – inch QHD screen (1440x2560p), Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset with six cores and will work with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
The next surprise from Motorola has a number XT1585 is named Kinzie. Here we find QHD panel in – a small display 4.6 “and 640p, again Android 5.1.1 Lollipop Snapdragon chipset and 810.
Still no precise information on when these phones will be presented, but most – are likely to be DROID series 2015.Source: GSMARENA
