It seems that Motorola its not ready to stop releasing smartphones in 2017, as the Lenovo-owned company received certification from the Chinese authorities for a new Moto smartphone.

In TENAA’s database was spotted a Moto XT1799-2 smartphone and judging by its specs it look like another budget smartphone. Well, the last two models unveiled by Motorola (Moto Z2 Force and Moto X) we’re on high end and the midrange segments, so maybe it was time for another budget smartphone as well.

Since we mentioned specs, this new Moto device sports a 5.2-inch Full HD display, is powered by an unspecified 1.5Ghz processor and if offers two RAM and storage variants: a 3GB RAM and 32GB storage combo and another one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage.

The phone features an 8MP rear camera, while the selfie snapper has also an 8MP sensor. The new device is powered by a 2,810 mAh battery and it seems it’ll be available in three color options: Black, Silver and Pink.

No details on its release date, availability or prices, but usually after they’re granted TENAA certification smartphone makers unveil their devices shortly, so we can expect Motorola to announce its new smartphone soon.
