Motorola introduced the Moto G5 series back in February and now it’s been known for a while the the Lenovo-owned company will release an upgraded version of the series, Moto G5S.
New rumors have emerged recently bringing in discussion the Moto G5S Plus. Twitter user Andri Yatim (@HeyAndri) posted a scanned promotional image of the phone and a few of Moto G5S Plus’ specs.
According to him the phone will sport a Snapdragon 626 (the previous model has SD 625), 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB internal storage, a dual-camera at the back (13MP+13MP) and an 8 MP selfie snapper. The phone will be juiced by a 3,072 mAh battery and will by running on Android 7.1.1.
There are no info about its release date but there a big probability it may be unveiled next week. Motorola confirmed an important event that will take place in New York, on July 25, which is next Tuesday.
Now, Motorola doesn’t mention what smartphones will be unveiled at this event. The only model we’re certain is the Moto Z2 Force, that was teased by Motorola last week. The other rumors suggest that Moto X4 will be another smartphone unveiled next week, since its original June 30 release was canceled.
Taking in consideration the promotional scanner image and the timing of this event, we can hope to see Moto G5S Plus being launched next week.
