Lenovo and Motorola have a special event on 26 February, in Barcelona, a day before the start of MWC 2017, where they will officially unveil the new Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus smartphones, but they will not be bringing us any news at that time since the details of the two devices were completely leaked by a Spanish retailer.
Moto G5 will feature a 5-inch 1080p touchscreen, Snapdragon 430 chipset, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage, a 13 MP rear camera, a 5 MP front-facing shooter and a 2,800 mAh battery with 10W rapid charging. It’s also got the fingerprint scanner and water repellent coating, and runs Android 7.0 Nougat.
Moto G5 Plus
The Moto G5 Plus will be just a little better equipped the its little brother. It will come with a 5.2-inch 1080p touchscreen with Gorilla Glass 3, a 12 MP main camera with dual autofocus pixels, a 5 MP selfie snapper, the Snapdragon 625 chipset at the helm, 2GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable storage. We will also get NFC, a water repellent coating, a fingerprint sensor, and a 3,000 mAh battery with support for “TurboPower” charging and it runs Android 7.0 Nougat.
